Bicicas

Bicicas is a bicycle loan system for urban transportation and whose purpose is to improve the environmental health of the city. It is a silent, clean, easy to use, and accessible form of transportation that improves one’s quality of life in addition to their mental and physical health.

• Access to the service: in order to use this service you must be registered at any of the City Council office and obtain the Bicicas card.
  Each user can utilize the bicycle for 2 continuous hours, after which the bicycle must be returned to any of the rental locations.
  The service is free, although each user must pay a 10€ deposit for the use of the card and the portable bicycle’s portable light.

• Schedule and hours of operation:
  • October to May
    • Monday to Saturday: 7:30 to 21:00 in all the rental locations.
    • Sunday: 9:00 to 18:00.
  • June to September
    • Monday to Saturday: 7:30 to 21:00 in all rental locations.
    • Sunday: 9:00 to 20:00.

Bicycles cannot be taken from the location more than 30 minutes before rental hours begin.
Continued bicycle use is limited to 2 hours, at which time the bicycle must be returned to the bike racks at a rental location.
