Castellón de la Plana’s nightlife is concentrated in the downtown area. Due to the fact that it is a small city, there are not extensive party areas. Apart from the downtown area, there are two entertainment centers; one to the north and one to the south of the city.
To start the night off, there is nothing better than Isaac Peral Street, located in Santa Clara Square, where everyone goes to have “tapas”. Most of the local youth goes to to this pedestrian zone of bars before going to have dinner.
As for the nightlife, a number of places to go are can be found along Mayor Street , the pedestrian streets located in front of the Santa Clara Square, Gobernador Street and Lagasca Street and around the street Caballeros. Just outside the city, there are two industrial parks; one located to the north (Castalia Industrial Park) and one to the south of Castellón de la Plana (The Cypresses Industrial Park) where you will find warehouses that center their activity at night and allow its visitors to enjoy music until the wee hours of the morning.
In summer, the nightlife moves to the Grau (Port) and to the refreshment stands located on the beach.
